1973, Mind Games
Right before his Lost Weekend, John recorded this ode to the absolute cosmic rightness of his and Yoko's being together. Their love was destiny, and John immortalizes this fact with plinking piano and one of his most passionate vocal deliveries. Like many of his songs, there's added, bittersweet poignancy since we now know that he was to die only several years later. "Anyway, I survived long enough to make you my wife" pretty much says it all.
